For 20 years Julie has been fortunate to work with many iconic brands while partnering with talented writers, designers, strategists, directors, illustrators, photographers, editors, artists and creative minds. Julie has worked in both agency and in-house settings in digital, social, experiential, and traditional spaces within multiple verticals including retail, real estate, beverage, and fashion. Her many years of  working with diverse creative and marketing teams has given her the unique position to lead and build high performing teams, often from scratch, while also guiding stakeholders to align on a shared vision and strategy and deliver scalable results in a fast-paced environment. She has deep expertise in multi-channel customer acquisition including, demand generation, lead management and the full suite of marketing strategies

While working on global and national brands such as Claire’s, Sears, and Brookfield Properties, Julie gained extensive experience and knowledge of what it takes to lead in-house teams, build brands from the ground up, solve complex problems, uncover new ways to connect to consumers, and stand out from the pack in both the B2B and B2C ecosystems. Working closely with agency partners and vendors to round out the needed skills to deliver ideas that influence, entertain and inspire.

Starting her career in a traditional agency setting gave Julie the opportunity to work on multiple clients and varied deliverables such as TV, print, collateral, and OOH. When given the opportunity to move into in-house creative departments at Sears, Claire’s and Breakthru Beverage, Julie then focused on digital and e-commerce. She was part of the team to develop and deploy the first ever claires.com and icing.com e-commerce websites, being involved in all aspects such as strategy, design, UX, copywriting, development, testing, and deployment. She also created, staffed, implemented and managed an internal photography studio that was responsible for approximately 500 product shots per month. At Breakthru Beverage, Julie was responsible for building a team of designers and writers who created content for a B2B audience, focusing on beverage promotion, education and internal comms as well as creating and launching a B2B e-commerce website.

While at Brookfield Properties, Julie has worked in both the traditional and digital spaces, partnering closely with marketing teams to build brands for both B2B and B2C audiences. Working hand in hand with Insights and Research teams, she has built individual brands for high profile retail properties with global audiences in the B2C space. She has also produced materials for B2B audiences, promoting the Brookfield brand to leasing, sales and marketing audiences.
